Paper PerFect Formation Analyzer (PPF)

OpTical Surface Roughness
(OpTiSurf)
|
|
|
|
|
The
PPF
quantifies formation into its component values. Individual component
values correlate well with paper and board properties such as strength
and printability.
Samples are easily compared to
selected reference sheets such as a competitor’s paper or the “best”
sheet produced on a particular paper machine. The Relative Formation
Values are reported for each size component. Features of the PPF include:
-
Specific size components have been correlated with print
quality and sheet strength
-
Grades range from tissue to heavy
board
-
Optional pattern recognition
software (OpTiPro)
-
Optional
Watermark Quality

OpTest will also exhibit the latest technology for measuring surface
roughness. Features of the
